That’s the thing about companies and the product they make . They know that’s pets and specifically cats in this situation are near and dear to the human heart so they can take advantage of this and ask whatever that market will bear. If they charge $1000 for the LR4 people would pay it for that freedom and convenience. They definitely are pulling on the old heart strings.

This camera was made in Japan (at least mine was). That explains the high build quality. Nowadays, Sony's pro cameras like A1 or A9iii are offshored to Thailand.

Hi, I was wondering if you knew how to unlock the language from Japanese to English. I have the exact same one, and I got it off of eBay but it is region locked. I’ve tried looking up ways to unlock it so I can change the language to English but nothing I find supports the camera.

Edit: maybe dust is hampering my sensors because i have to manually cycle the robot right now. I will clean the sensors with a cloth and que-tips. Nothing wet on sensors. Thanks for a very informative video

Can't find that game box on temu

Me. I spent $699 for a litter box. Between the smell control and being able to monitor my older cats weight without having to fight to get her on a baby scale, it's worth every penny for me. I had a problem with the sensor and black bags, so switched to white tall kitchen bags and that helped. Arm & Hammer Slide litter is a little more expensive, but works great in it. I tried a lot of the other boxes like you did. Scoop Free sounds like a great idea but wasn't worth the trouble. One of my cats attacked the rake every time it ran and it didn't really do anything about the smell.

I've had a Litter Robot 3, for 4 years. It just died and I'm not fixing or replacing it and here's why. 1. It would occasionally get stuck in a position where there was no litter exposed, and the cat would be forced to make other arrangements. For that reason alone, I had a regular litter box as a back up, which he'd also use, so it kind of defeats the purpose. 2. Dust. Enclosed box's with a flap/door really keep the dust down in a room. There's no door on a Litter Robot, so every time it cycles, several times a day, it's generating dust, lot's of dust that was accumulating on everything in the room. 3. The max time to wait before it cycles is 15 minutes. That's not enough time for the litter to absorb all the stink, and the tray underneath emits a smell I've never had with a traditional litter box. It's a nasty odor. Even with the charcoal insert. I really wanted to like it, but I'm back to a fully enclosed box with a door. No dust, no stink, no malfunctions.

I read that the LR4 has too many gaps for urine to leak down underneath unlike the LR3. But the LR3 is way louder and smaller. Also, there's a guy on youtube, that started getting gnats (bugs) and maggots underneath within 3 months of use. So be sure to inspect underneath where the tray is. This means deep cleaning really often. Also, I'm looking into the Neakasa because it has wifi but does not require it. The LR requires wifi to work at all where the Neakasa does not . I think LR should consider redesigning to give the option to work without wifi in case your router or service fails.

I’ve ordered a lot from Temu. I don’t order electronics because common sense. I order craft supplies, kitchen gadgets, gardening supplies, pins, t-shirts and other things that would be hard to mess up or don’t have to be high quality. I’ve been very happy with all but a few items.

It is a steal for 699 USD compared to what you pay in Europe. It costs 1.158,14 USD (1.076 Euros) over here and you can´t return it since it is imported. Very expensive piece of plastic.

I can’t select, I think LCD is the problem? So it’s always just stuck in the set date screen since I can’t press anything in the touchscreen :( Do you know how to fix it?

The LR4 is the best 700.00 I've ever spent. I'm 73 and scooping is hard. The LR4 cleaning is easier.

Great review just got ours today and like you said very easy setup smooth transition do agree with you on the price point but it will be well worth it after a few weeks of not having to scoop

have you looked into the Petkit litter box's during your research? its a good one. a lot of new automated litter boxes have come out recently that are way cheaper than $699

DON'T USE NEXTCLOUD. IT IS COMPLETE TRASH. YOU NEED TO WORK IN THIS FIELD TO KNOW HOW TO CONFIGURE IT PROPERLY. THE SOFTWARE ITSELF IS UNDER COOKED, BUGGY, SLOW AND DOCUMENTATION IS OUT OF DATE AND INCOMPLETE. STAY AWAY.
